Meet your guide at the confirmed waterfront point and begin along the Corniche. The harbour, seafront buildings and surrounding hills introduce Muscat’s trading setting. Turn into Mutrah Souq, also written Muttrah Souq, where incense burners, perfumes and textiles sit among everyday market goods. The walk allows time for explanations and browsing, with personal purchases paid separately.
The route includes viewpoints towards Mutrah Fort. A climb into the fort is a different level of effort and requires its opening and admission to be agreed; the base route does not promise entry. Walking time is approximately three hours on the existing program, while shorter market walks are also sold locally, so confirm the exact pace and finish point.
