The experience
Get to know Muscat through the places that connect its religious life, maritime trade and royal quarter, with a local Omani guide and private transport.
A classic city route starts with Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque when visitor access permits, then links the modern districts with Mutrah’s waterfront and souq. Between stops, the guide explains how the capital spreads among mountains and bays. On foot, the market brings the city closer: frankincense, perfumes, textiles and everyday trading alongside the harbour.
Continue towards Old Muscat for the exterior of Al Alam Palace and the setting of Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts. These landmarks are viewed from public areas unless a particular interior visit is arranged. The Royal Opera House can be added as an exterior photo stop or a separately ticketed visit. Because this is a private tour, agree the sights and pace before departure rather than assuming every landmark fits. Vehicle category, paid admission and overall duration belong in your final quote.
