The experience
Ride beside the Gulf of Oman at Al Sawadi Beach in Barka, a coastal activity reached by road from Muscat.
Meet the handler at the riding base named in your confirmation and explain your experience before mounting. The introduction covers your position, basic directions and the pace planned for the ride. Follow the agreed shoreline route, with space to enjoy the beach, sea breeze and coastal views while the handler manages the horse and group.
Although marketed under Muscat horse riding, the matching activity is at Al Sawadi in Barka rather than a central-city beach. The ride and the drive are separate parts of the day: confirm session length, meeting point and the cost of any Muscat transfer. A faster pace, sunset timing and photographs depend on your ability and the operator’s plan. Helmets, rider age and weight requirements must be confirmed before booking; a child price does not establish riding eligibility.
