White Canyon brings pale rock, powdered sand and a winding route through narrowing passages before the landscape opens towards Ain Khudra. The walk is an active part of the day, with rocky steps and narrow sections rather than a succession of roadside photo stops.
The published route continues to Mushroom Rock and a village lunch before a walk through Salama, the coloured canyon named in this program. A rock-inscription stop appears in the broader plan and should be confirmed with the final circuit. Allow about eight hours including vehicle time, walks and breaks.
