Trace the pyramid landscape beyond Giza on a full day connecting the royal necropolis, Saqqara’s Step Pyramid and the ancient capital at Memphis.
At Giza, begin with the main pyramid exteriors and the Sphinx area, using the visitor route and viewpoints agreed with your guide. Continue south to Saqqara, where the Step Pyramid of Djoser introduces a different stage of monumental stone building. The surrounding ceremonial complex makes the contrast with Giza easier to follow; particular tombs, underground galleries and pyramid interiors require their own confirmed access.
At Memphis, visit the open-air museum area named in your route, known for its monumental sculpture and the remains associated with the former capital. The day includes the standard lunch described in the package and about eight hours overall, with road travel between three separate areas.
